Who we are

This website is run by Wafa Sign Ireland (legal entity name and CRO or business name registration number to confirm), a signage business based in Ballinora, Co. Cork. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

Wafa Sign Ireland, Ballinora, Co. Cork, T12 AET9. Phone 085 860 0150, email info@wafasign.ie.

What we collect

When you use the project form (Start your project), we collect what you choose to send us: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the town or county of the job, and the details of the sign you describe (type, size, style, materials, location, timeframe, budget and any notes).

If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the details you give us so we can deal with your enquiry.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request) to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it and our legal basis

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling. We will not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with service providers that help us run the business, under contracts that protect it: our website host and form provider (Netlify, Inc., to confirm), and our email provider. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become a job are deleted within 24 months. Records for jobs we carry out are kept for 6 years after the job for tax and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Contact us using the details above and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page, with a new date at the top.
